James Pond makes his first splash on Nintendo Switch 2 in the last week of October 2026 with James Pond Legacy: The Pond Is Not Enough, a strictly limited physical collector’s edition created with game preservation at its heart.
The collection brings together 12 versions of four classic adventures: James Pond: Underwater Agent, James Pond 2: RoboCod, James Pond 3: Operation Starfish and The Aquatic Games Starring James Pond and the Aquabats.
Spanning versions originally released for the Amiga 500, Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, Super Nintendo Entertainment System and Commodore 64, the collection preserves the distinctive visuals, audio, soundtracks and gameplay of each original release. Players can explore how the games looked, sounded and played across different home computers and consoles.

Specially designed and created for James Pond Legacy: The Pond Is Not Enough, the Pondverse is an extensive interactive history of the James Pond series built directly into the game.
For the first time, the characters, heroes, villains, bosses, games, levels and memorable locations from throughout James Pond history are brought together in one interactive hub.
Players can explore:
- Detailed profiles of James Pond and the characters who shaped his adventures
- Biographies of Pond’s greatest heroes and villains, including the notorious Dr Maybe
- The stories behind all four games and their most memorable levels
- Specially created 3D artwork inspired by the original pixel graphics
- Authentic box, cover and packaging artwork from the original releases
- Background information revealing how the series developed across different formats

Production of the physical collector’s edition will be limited to no more than 6,000 copies worldwide.

The first 1,000 copies are available at the special pre-order price of £59.99 (plus postage).
Once the first 1,000 copies have been sold, the price will increase to £69.99 (plus postage), for the remainder of the limited production run.
